Mold Design Workflow
- When getting DFM feedback from our client, we will start mold design immediately. Normally it takes 4-7 days depends on the complexity of the mold structure.
- After mold design is finished by the mold designer, our design manager, the project manager will check if anything needs to optimize.
- After the design manager and project manager approve the mold design, the first mold design will be sent to the client for checking.
- The client sends their comment for mold design or approval.
- Update mold design according to the client’s comment, it normally takes 1-3 days. The design manager and project manager check the updated mold design according to the client’s comment, if nothing needs to optimize, then send it to the client for final approval.
- After getting the client’s official approval for steel ordering and mold design release, we will start ordering steel and mold manufacture.
